It's the coldest day I've had since I've been back -- Winter's hand reaching out to welcome me. This afternoon I and the other folk of CLAS320/420 fly Auckland/Dubai/Athens. Ten days there, the first two of them in the British School (where I'll be researching Corinth frantically: each of us tours the group around one site, and that's mine), and then we stitch our way back and forth across the country until late December.
Last trip, I left a pretty good amount of time to get to the airport, and there was a bus strike and subsequent franticness. This time I will leave a very good amount of time, and be slightly more bored in airports. So no more now. If I can make email-posting work from my kindle, I'll put small updates here as I go, spelling and capitalisation optional. In case this is the last I write here till January: may the year turn however you'd best like it to.
